This service is operated by Emmanuel Kuuku VIganie-Valentine ("we", "us", "our"), trading as SurveyorAI Africa. We act as the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.

- Account data: name, email address, hashed password, authentication identifiers.
- Profile and project data: organization name, project files, coordinate datasets, calculation history you create in the app.
- Support data: messages and attachments you send to support.
- Usage and device data: log records, IP address, browser/device identifiers, pages visited, feature usage telemetry.
- Billing identifiers: subscription tier and customer identifiers returned by our payment processor (Paddle). We do not store full payment card details.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Provide the service (account creation, calculations, storage) — performance of contract.
- Security, fraud and abuse prevention — legitimate interests.
- Product improvement and analytics — legitimate interests.
- Customer support — performance of contract / legitimate interests.
- Legal and tax compliance — legal obligation.
- Marketing communications — consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. How we share data
We share personal data only with:
- Service providers / subprocessors: hosting, database, analytics and support tooling providers acting on our instructions.
- Merchant of Record (Paddle): Paddle.com Market Limited acts as the reseller and Merchant of Record for all orders, and processes payments, subscription management, tax compliance and invoicing on our behalf.
- Professional advisers: legal, accounting and audit providers, under confidentiality.
- Authorities: where required by law or to protect our rights.
5. International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside your country of residence, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent legal mechanisms.
6. Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. After account closure, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where longer retention is required by law (e.g. tax records).
